About Wright Wool
Wright Wool is a privately owned Woolbroker with two subsidiary companies: Country Auctions Ltd and Dag Processors Ltd, which have been operating for over 23 years. Our head office and Wool Store business is based in Waipukurau and our team of highly experienced team service the whole of the Hawke’s Bay.
We guarantee payments and offer an interim payment per bale on receipt into our Wool store. Wool cartage and storage is available for our customers who benefit from our great services such as shed cleanouts and replacement of fadges.
Since July 2021, Wright Wool has expanded into the retail sphere with the Wright Wool Pillow which has been hugely successful in the domestic market with plans to continue exploring new retail opportunities to strengthen the wool industry. Philippa Wright MNZM, the managing director, also co-owns The Natural Wool Company (USA), which exports New Zealand wool to the US where it is made into wool pillows and marketed to the hospitality industry.
Wright Wool has the ambition to be an all-encompassing business that engages with and provides connection between our invaluable wool growers and customers that purchase our wool products. Our driving force is ultimately promoting wool in NZ and beyond to drive up the value and demand of NZ wool through providing high quality products that are healthier for our consumers but also our planet.
